RLC Exclusive 1985 Audi Sport quattro S1
A Red Line Club exclusive of the Group B rally icon in Spectraflame “Otto Blue” with a “Redline Rally Club” livery. Two months after it was listed, Mattel Creations was still taking orders on backorder, which shows that not every RLC drop sells out on day one.

Why collectors want it
- The Sport quattro S1 is one of the defining Group B rally cars, which gives it appeal beyond Hot Wheels collectors.
- Sold only to Red Line Club members, capped at two per member.
- Licensed Audi deco with a rally light pod and opening hood: RLC-level detail at $28.
Scarcity and supply
A capped RLC drop with a limit of two per member. Mattel does not publish production numbers. On 2026-09-22 the listing still accepted orders (tagged backordered), so supply had not run out at retail. While it can still be bought for $28, there's no basis for a resale premium.
Condition and packaging
- Carded and in the original clamshell is the collector baseline. A loose example should come with its clamshell and card.
- Check that the auxiliary light pod is present and undamaged. Small add-on parts are the first thing to go on opened examples.
Authenticity checks
- The listed spec is Spectraflame Otto Blue, Real Riders 10-spoke silver wheels, and a black interior with a white roll cage. Mismatched wheels usually mean a customised or swapped car.
- RLC exclusives ship in a Kar Keepers clamshell. A bare card with no case is not proof of a fake, but ask why.
